You are made up of about 75 trillion cells.
That’s a lot of cells!
Your job is simple–give your cells what they need and keep them away from what they don’t need.
Your cells must have nutrients and must be free of toxins. So health comes down to Toxicity and Deficiency.
Picture your cells as a car. Your car must have gas, motor oil, lubrication, and proper alignment all to run properly. There’s no question about it–if you’re out of gas, your car won’t run. If you run out of oil, your engine will blow up… period.
Similarly, if you put diesel gas in a regular car, it’s toxic to the engine; it’s going to ruin it.
Your cells do the same thing. If they don’t have what they need, they shut down. If they have too much of something they don’t need, they die.
Here are the things your cells need to function properly:
- Vitamins and Minerals
- Enzymes and Good Bacteria
- Anti-oxidants and Phyto-nutrients
- Protein, Carbohydrates, Fat, and Fiber
- Messages from nervous system and hormonal system
- Water
Here are the main toxins that will cause your cells to shut down:
- Heavy Metals: Lead, Mercury, and Arsenic just to name a few
- Environmental Toxins: asbestos, VOC from paint
- Personal care products with things like DEA, propylene glycol, SLS
- Chemicals: Chlorine, Benzene, Ammonia, Fluoride
- Food additives: MSG, food coloring, preservatives, steroids, etc.
- Fake ingredients: hydrogenated oils, processed sugars, and artificial sweeteners
Health is as simple as putting the good stuff in and keeping the bad stuff out.
What sort of fuel are you putting into your cells?

To the health list my list would include: exercise, God, Peace, family, friends, a place to call home, laughter and books. To the toxin list I would add stress, lonliness and lack of purpose.
